Le Jardin Du Fort - Galle

We liked this charming small and relaxing hotel and had an amazing time. The breakfast offered a wide array of nice meals. The room we booked was romantic and spotless in french style.

The location was great, close enough to restaurant, all the boutiques and the free-to-enter Mansion House Museum and all the attractions, in a quiet area. The rooms were quiet, complete with fans, a cozy french bar and bedroom, and with smoke detectors for safety measures too...

Convenient location in the heart of everything, the staff is super helpful, and there's a cozy bar. The rooms are pretty peaceful and come with comfy down pillows. 🌟

It was perfectly clean, the staff was amicable, plus the service was attentive. Truly enjoyed staying at the double room with excellent breakfast, a very comfortable bed, a cozy french bar. Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Galle.

The boutique hotel we stayed at had a perfect location for exploring the area by foot. the room was very clean and the staff could not have been nicer. We even did a cookery course with the owner and had a fantastic time learning how to make Sri Lankan curries. the hotel had a lovely quiet air conditioning system and the food we ordered was excellent, especially the croissant, coco latte, and dinner.

One small downside was the squeaky bed, but it was still comfy. the open bathroom concept took some getting used to.

My stay at Le Jardin Du Fort was simply delightful. The boho chic ambiance of the guesthouse made me feel like I had stepped into a stylish oasis. The croissants from the patisserie were unbelievably flaky, and the coffee was a rare find in Sri Lanka. The attention to detail in every corner of the guesthouse was remarkable. The room I stayed in was a haven of comfort and style. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable experience.

The restaurant offers a huge variety of fabulous meal options. The en suite rooms are great-sized with spacious showers. The French bar has a cozy and interesting design. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for travelling to Galle.

The breakfast here is especially good, with delicious homemade croissants to start the day, and the building is beautiful with spacious rooms on the ground floor.

loved this little hotel! cozy, clean room, helpful staff and owners who even organized airport taxi! delicious breakfast with croissants and omelettes. lovely garden and authentic atmosphere. would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Galle. exceeded expectations!

The setting is wonderful, near to beach, and restaurants & lighthouse, fairly quiet area. The rooms are romantic and nicely styled on about the bedrooms, so that guests have essentials. Its staff are really friendly, I really enjoyed it.

Cozy Family Room with a Great View

The family room had a great courtyard view which I absolutely loved. It also had practical amenities like an electric kettle, a mini fridge bar, and air conditioning. 😊

le jardin du fort exceeded my expectations during my recent stay in galle. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and took the time to chat with guests, giving personalized recommendations. the rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. the breakfast was delicious, with a mix of local and european options. the location was perfect, just minutes away from the lighthouse and boutiques. highly recommended!

Our double room was reasonably priced and had a stylish design that we really liked. We also had an electric kettle and a fridge available which made our stay more convenient. It was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. 🌟
